About me
I’m an adaptable systems-minded builder with a wide range of technical, operational, and business knowledge—giving me an innate ability to take responsibility for a broad remit, from clarifying requirements and designing workflows through implementation, documentation, security, and adoption.
My work sits at the intersection of software, infrastructure, security, and business operations. I enjoy translating what an organization needs into practical systems, then tracing the result across the user request, code, database, container, operating system, network, and operational outcome.
My MBA provides conceptual and linguistic fluency in business requirements, finance, accounting, operations, entrepreneurship, risk, and technology. That background is especially useful in private-equity portfolio environments, fintech, proptech, and startups, where technical decisions must connect to cost, controls, customer outcomes, and adoption. These are target business contexts for my work, not claims of direct employment in each sector.

I prefer clear requirements, documented trade-offs, reproducible workflows, and small tools that can be inspected, tested, and handed to the next person.

Steward the toolchain
I choose tools for the problem at hand, audit how they interact, and maintain or improve the systems I depend on rather than treating the toolchain as invisible.

- Designed and maintained infrastructure supporting POS/payment systems, wireless clients, surveillance, virtualization, storage, and remote support.
- Implemented PCI/DSS controls and completed three compliance self-assessment cycles.
- Combined VMware vSphere, Debian qemu-kvm, white-box servers, firewalls, custom cabling, and remote-access protocols to extend legacy infrastructure.
- Increased video-retention capacity from approximately 1.5 months to 7.5 months using iSCSI network storage.
- Built Bash, Python, and Node.js tools for system workflows, data parsing, troubleshooting, and network-controller APIs.

What I’m building toward
I’m interested in helping AI software teams ship reliable tools, providing infrastructure for AI developers, writing bespoke software, and translating business requirements into useful technical systems. I’m especially interested in work where good documentation, clear boundaries, and thoughtful automation help people move faster without losing trust.
